Couple Therapy

Couple counselling is for partners who want help understanding what keeps happening between them. You may still love each other and feel stuck in distance, defensiveness, repeated arguments, or silence.
Moffat offers a neutral counselling space where both people can be heard and the relationship pattern can be looked at more clearly.
What couple counselling can help with
Sessions may focus on communication, trust, jealousy, conflict, intimacy, different expectations, family pressure, separation decisions, or the feeling that one or both partners have stopped feeling safe in the relationship.
The work asks both people to take part. It is not about Moffat taking sides.
What sessions are like
Moffat helps slow the conversation down, identify the cycle you get caught in, and support more direct communication. You may look at what each person protects, avoids, needs, and fears.
Some couples come to rebuild. Others come to decide what is possible. Both are valid reasons to seek support.
Starting with Moffat
A first session can clarify the main pattern, what each partner wants, and whether couple counselling is the right next step.
